Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is pain in the lower abdomen that spreads to the waist and thighs. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, primary dysmenorrhea is 54.89%, and secondary dysmenorrhea is 9.36%. Dysmenorrhea can be overcome with non-pharmacological interventions, namely warm compresses. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of warm compresses in reducing dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls. The research method used quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population was all adolescent girls who experienced primary dysmenorrhea on the second and third days. A total of 30 adolescent girls were divided into intervention and control groups consisting of 15 people per group. Univariate analysis describes the frequency and percentage distribution. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that most respondents before being given warm compresses in the intervention group were in the moderate pain scale category (73.3%) and after the mild category (100%). The results of the bivariate test for the intervention group showed a significance value of p value 0.000. Meanwhile, the control group before being given the pain scale intervention was in the moderate category (40%) and after the mild category (66.7%). The results of the bivariate test of the control group showed a significant p value of 0.083. The effectiveness of the treatment reduced the pain scale in the intervention group by 62% and the control group by 27%. Thus, the provision of warm compresses is more effective in reducing dysmenorrhea pain.

Neng KomariahPipih NapisahYeti Hernawati

Even though the target has been reached, from this evaluation there is a decrease in CSI results in 2022 of 4.39% compared to 2021, this occurs because there is a decrease in scores related to service quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the Prodia Buah Batu Clinical Laboratory. The research design is a quantitative type with a correlative analytic design using a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained 79 respondents. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate, Chi quare test. The results showed that there was a relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the Prodia Buah Batu Clinical Laboratory, with a p value = 0.000. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the quality of service received by customers can affect the condition of customer satisfaction. https://ejurnal.stikesdhb.ac.id/index.php/Jsm/article/view/489

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection is a health and social problem in Indonesia. To date, the best treatment for HIV patients is combination antiretroviral (ARV) treatment. Nutritional status is one of the important factors that influence the success of ARV therapy because it is related to the body's immune response to ARV therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and viral load in monitoring ARV therapy. The research design used was a retrospective cohort study with a sample of 116 people living with HIV AIDS (PLWHA). Data analysis was performed using logistic regression analysis method. It was found that the majority of respondents were <40 years old (77%), male (79%), did not have TB infection (65%), had a drug compliance rate >95% (53%), BMI ≥18.5 kg/m2 (59%) and had a suppressed viral load (84%). The results showed no significant association between nutritional status and viral load after controlling for other covariate variables, namely TB infection and adherence (p-value=0.134). Nevertheless, nutritional status and HIV infection are highly correlated, so routine monitoring is still needed in addition to viral load, such as weight, height when PLWHA visit health care facilities, and efforts are also needed to provide additional food to keep PLWHA's BMI from decreasing.
Yeni suryamahOka SeptirianiKhalina Puspitasari
