Therefore, proper care called self care is needed. Self care is a person's actions to control their health problems including diet management, blood sugar monitoring, drug therapy, foot care and physical activity. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between self-care and the quality of life of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Griya Antapani Health Center. The research method uses quantitative descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 56 people from a population of 126 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research instrument is in the form of a Summary of Diabetes Self Care (SDSCA) questionnaire to measure self-care and Diabetes Quality of Life(DQOL) to measure quality of life. Data analysis used a spearman rank test with the result of p = 0.001 < 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between self-care and the quality of life of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Griya Antapani Health Center. Self-care behaviors that need to be improved are physical activity and regular blood sugar monitoring. It is hoped that people with diabetes mellitus will improve self-care behavior to improve health and prevent further complications of the disease.
usan Daryaman Nissa Aulia ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2025-01-28 2025-01-28 19 1 1 10 EVALUASI PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI MATERNAL PERINATAL DEATH NOTIFICATION (MPDN) DI WILAYAH KERJA DINAS KESEHATAN KABUPATEN BANDUNG TAHUN 2024 https://ejurnal.stikesdhb.ac.id/index.php/Jsm/article/view/512
Background: Based on the results of the 2020 Long Form Population Census, there was a decrease in the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) nationally. The method used in this study was a Quasi Experimental Design research method with a Post-test Only Control Group Design approach which consisted of an experimental class, namely pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum were given ginger candy, while in the control class pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum were given candy containing contains no ginger or placebo. Sampling was done by accidental sampling. The sample taken was 62 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, namely 31 intervention groups and 31 control groups. Ginger candy was given to the intervention group while the control group was given sugar candy. The statistical test results, it was found that p value = 0.000 (p value ≤ 0.05) meaning that there was a significant influence between giving ginger candy (Zingiber officinale) on reducing emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the working area of the Sukaresmi Health Center, Cianjur Regency, in 2023.
